Lauren and Derek's love story kicked off the very first day of high school, but it wasn't until junior year that sparks really flew!
After 8.5 years of laughter and adventure, they are finally tying the knot!
We know what you’re all thinking... How did they date for that long?
Four years of long-distance, Lauren at the University of Oregon and Derek at Pepperdine, were filled with late-night phone calls and adventures around the PNW and LA. Their bond only grew stronger guided by their faith in God’s plan for them.
Lauren and Derek are now back home with their families, eagerly awaiting married life and can’t wait to finally live together!
They’re friends and family describe them as social butterflies; their agendas are always packed with something fun to do. Their favorite things to do together are exploring new restaurants, catching the latest movies, traveling to new cities, and enjoying game nights with friends!
With Lauren making strides in the medical technology world and Derek navigating the finance industry, these two high school sweethearts are ready to take on married life hand-in-hand!
As they prepare for marriage, Lauren and Derek are eternally grateful for the unwavering love and support from their family and friends who have been there every step of the way.
